Terms

These terms of use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and The Tribe Maker, LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Valorem. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms, the Sweepstakes rules, and the Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older, and at least the age of majority where you live. One account per person. You agree to give accurate information, including your name, date of birth, phone number, and shipping address, and to keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

Valorem and Ips

The site uses two virtual coins. Valorem is a game coin for entertainment play. It has no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money or prizes, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged. Ips are sweepstakes entries. Ips are never sold. They are given free with an eligible Valorem pack or shop order, and free through the free entry request. Ips have no cash value and are used only as the Sweepstakes rules describe.

Coin balances are a limited license to use the site, not property, and they are not a deposit or a stored-value account. We may correct a balance that is wrong because of an error, a reversed payment, or a breach of these Terms.

Purchases and the shop

Prices are in US dollars. A purchase is complete only when payment is approved. A failed or declined payment completes no order and adds no coins. Valorem packs are final once the coins are added, except where the law requires a refund. Physical goods ship to the address on your account. Tell us within 14 days of delivery if an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, and we will repair, replace, or refund it.

Games

Game outcomes are decided on our servers when you play. Displayed returns describe the game's long-run math, not any one session. If a game malfunctions, the affected round is void and any Valorem used for it is returned.

Conduct

Do not use bots, scripts, more than one account, false identity details, or any method meant to get more Ips or entries than the rules allow. Do not interfere with the site or other players. We may suspend or close an account, and void its coins and entries, for a breach of these Terms or the Sweepstakes rules.

Webinars and drawings

Webinars are live online events. Numbered seats are entries in the drawing for that webinar's featured item, under the Sweepstakes rules. Event times can change. If a webinar is cancelled, Ips used for its seats are returned.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Denton County, Texas, and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version. If a change is material we will tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. Using the site after that means you accept the change.
